Species Summary

Scortum barcoo is one of the larger and more boisterous grunters kept in aquaria, reaching 25–35 cm. Usually a light grey fish, it carries a variable number of black blotches along each side. It is a hardy aquarium subject, but its size means it needs a genuinely large tank to do well.
